So most of you who visit this board know I am working on getting evaluated for possible PCOS. My question is related but I want an idea.

Do any of you have cramps all month...like nearly every day? Even If you don't have a period that month?

Because I do....I had cramps before my period this month (that I got after it being absent for 3 months)....the week after and even still now daily. Not all day but off an on and some times hurt more than others. Unlike during my period..they aren't too terrible but at times hurt like hell. And before anyone asks....its not one side either. Its both.

It's possible it could be because you didn't have it for so long that you are experiencing more cramping, but I'm no doctor!
I know I get cramps the day I start and sometimes I'll get them a few days before so I'll know it's coming.
Hope you can get this sorted out

I only seem to get cramping when I ovulate.

However my friend developed terrible cramps when her daughter was 18 months old and after having almost a year of test and suspected of having PCOS, cancer, appendicitis and stones it turned out that her ovaries had gone into overdrive causing her debilitating pain. The only permanent cure is to under go a full hysterectomy but as she was a single Mum at the time they opted for a less invasive alternative which is a hormone implant that has put her into early menopause.

I hope you get some relief soon
