I went to an urgent care today after being in terrible pain since the following night from a day of pelvic ultrasounds. What started out as menstrual cramping soon turned into severe nausea and an extreme tight full stomach. I have to pee about every 20 mins but not alot comes out. Had recent blood tests that came back normal also along with an urine sample that was clear. Nothing should be causing this much pain except the fluid, which why so much pain? Why did it start hours after my ultrasounds? Could it be something the fluid has gotten into or is on? I've always had bad periods but nothing like the last one, and certainly no symptoms a week after my period is over. I just started birth control and hoping that with these pain meds and nausea meds will help me sleep and be comfortable. And also using alot of heat on my pelvic region.

update: spent last night vomiting up just liquid until I was so tired I fell asleep until morning. Now I still feel dull ache and fullness but not near as bad right now. Any thoughts if this is even reproductive system related??

Did they say that you had a cyst rupture? That is how I get when I have an ovarian cyst rupture. I hope you are feeling soon.

They didn't say what the fluid was from, except its normal when ovulating after period.
