i don't feel as thought i'm ready to have children but i have such incredibly strong urges to have a baby..... does this make sense??

hi Boopsie - how old are you? I'm not exactly in that situation, but I definitely am feeling panicky about running out of time (I'm 37). Not particularly eager to change my lifestyle but if not now, then when?
I suppose I'd need an outlet for my strong maternal feelings if I didn't have my two sweet cats. These days, they are very much my 'babies' but if I didn't have them then I'm sure baby cravings would cause me a lot of frustrations.

i'm only 28 years old so i know i have plenty of time to have children. it's just that in the past 8-10 months i have been so consumed with the idea. i walk through the baby section in stores and i just melt! just that feeling of holding a baby in my arms is so strong. yet, when i think about raising children, i'm not sure if i'm ready.
is there a difference between wanting to raise kids and wanting a baby? |
