********Sorry about the book, but I have to explain the situation********
Here's my Bad News Bad News turns into Good News for me

These are the reason's why I haven't been doing to good lately. I haven't been feeling well. I was getting worse rather then getting better. I have been sick since around Thanksgiving and didn't tell anyone I just road it out. Then I started having severe Chest pain on the left side, close to my heart. I was actually feeling as if I was having a mild heart attack. My Primary Care Doctor sent me to a Cardiologist, and he did an EKG and where he stated the results were bad Bad News turns into Good News for me The cardiologist then ordered a Treadmill Stress Test. Well I did it, but I couldn't last past about 7 1/2 minutes. It felt like my heart wanted to jump out of my chest. I was in tears. What a waste of time that was they couldn't get a reading, because i couldn't complete it.
In February I had to wear a Heart monitor for 24 hours to record all the activity. I called to find out the results and they told me I have to wait until I redo my stress test before they give me the results Bad News turns into Good News for me What the heck is that. Anyway on the 13th I have an appointment to do another stress test. It's this one Thallium Stress Test. These results will not be available until my follow up appt on March 19th. I've already been stressing about the results of the EKG(When he says bad what does he mean),the results of the Heart Monitor(Why are they leaving me hanging), the stress of maybe having a heart attack on the table when they do the Thallium Stress Test. Everything just made me break down.
In between this mess Lab work was done and I found out I had extremely high Cholesterol it was 348. So there was another thing to feed the fire (the stress etc...)My doctor put me on VYTORIN. I was actually on LIPITOR and it didn't help at all. Nor did my lifestyle of eating Burgers and Fries on a daily basis.
Well that's all the bad news Bad News turns into Good News for me
================================================================

Here's the good news Bad News turns into Good News for me
I lost 15 lbs doing the Subway diet(Since February 12), and my Cholesterol is 168 now. It dropped about 180 points. I can't believe it!!! I am so amazed the medication VYTORIN kicks Butt. It helps when you don't eat fast food anymore to (no more burgers and fries for me). I am so proud of my self you don't understand. I don't know if you have ever heard of CURVES for women? Here's the link if you haven't CURVES
Well my boyfriend is paying for me to start there tomorrow. A year membership $408.00 that's a lot I can't afford that. He said it is definitely worth it if I do it. I am so hyped about it, because the most coolest thing about it is that there are 13 machines and on each machine you do a workout for 30 seconds each(YES SECONDS CRAZY HUH!!!)Anyway you do 30 seconds then you go to a mat for 30 seconds and march in place and check your pulse, then you continue this same routine twice, you go around and do each machine twice and the whole thing takes a total of 30 minutes. This routine is all Cardio and Strengthening(toning). The 30 minutes is equal to 1 hour and 30 minutes as if you were just doing a regular workout.
This was my good news Bad News turns into Good News for me
================================================================

I am still having a hard time with all the tests and labs and procedures. It seems to be a big waiting game. My patience level is at 0%.
Not good for a person that suffers from Bipolar,ADHD,Depression,Severe Anxiety and Panic Attacks.

**I am still very nervous about the Thallium stress test, but I need to remember that I will be in a heart hospital when I have it done. Well put it this way, that's the best place to be if something were to happen right Bad News turns into Good News for me**
I need to keep telling myself that.

Thanks for reading and giving me your thoughts.

Jlove

Jlove wow!!!!! I bet the fact that you've lost weight and joined a gym is going to help immensly. So don't worry so much about what these tests show, even the ones coming up. Because you know what they're gonna tell you? Loose weight and excersise....which you're doing. I know its easier said then done, but worrying about finding the cause of problems actually makes the problems worse in the meantime.....so try and let it go, and revel in being proud of you for taking care of you!!! You're an inspiration!!!!!

Can you tell me about the Subway diet? Is it really all you're eating?

With the Subway diet, you walk to the Subway store, order a low-fat sub (any kind you want, as long as it's not high in fat) and eat it. But Jlove might be doing it a bit differently than the way Jarrod did it; if the store isn't within walking distance, I can't blame her for driving, LOL!

I am not telling anyone not to go to Curves, but I'm just commenting that I won't use them, as they support a cause I don't believe in with the money their customers pay them. There are other companies in some areas that you can go to that offer similar services.

Can I suggest that discussion about Curves be started in a new thread, or discussed in PM's, so that we stay on Jlove's topic?

Thanks,
Rayna
