very good i agree there are people out there that dont think when they do these things,
how much danger they put them selves in

I had some guy friends years ago and one night they were talking about all the stupid stuff they did, and they both said the same thing "It sounded like a good idea at the time.....".

I have a cousin in Nebraska, and as kids, they would jump off this windwill into a tree. One day, he jumped and missed the tree. He landed on his head....and survived. Now he's a little slow. The town calls him the Village Idiot.

Maybe women just see danger more often??

Actually, I just saw a thing...on 20/20 or one of those news shows last night or the night before...that talked about how many teenage (and younger) boys get into these risk-taking behaviors, such as riding bikes and making high jumps on them, grabbing onto a car and letting it pull them on skates, etc. Many have high medical bills from broken bones and worse. One kid's parents' insurance was canceled, and he'd had like half a million dollars in medical bills, I think they said, and he continues this behavior. (I'd kill my kid myself for getting our insurance canceled and raising our bills unnecessarily.) It's like an addiction, and they need to do this to stave off boredom. They even show signs of this risk-taking behavior while very young.

But my point in bringing this up, is, they said more and more girls are now getting into it. They said it's probably due to it being more acceptable for girls to do activities like these.
