I am trying to come up with as much information to give the doctor before my hospital appointment in February when I speak to someone about endometriosis, and I know that one of the symptoms of endometriosis is being irregular. I didn't think I ever was, I guess because I never paid any huge attention for the most part, but I came across an old diary from 2006-2008 with the date I started my time of the month, and tonight I counted how many days between each date. I don't know much about what is considered irregular, but this is the amount of days I counted for each cycle-

26, 36, 23, 28, 30, 29, 27, 32, 26, 30, 29, 31, 30, 31, 33, 29, 28, 27, 28, 29, 28, 29

In the last 7 months of what I wrote there seems to be a bit of a consistency, but after that I kind of gave up on writing the dates. Would this be considered irregular or somewhat normal? I know that it's normal to be off by a little.

Now that I'm on birth control I can't really count the days anymore, so I have to go by what I wrote down years ago.

I have endo as well, and it can be really horrific. Do you know if you ever skipped periods? It's normal to have 11-13 periods in a year. Anything deviating from that is probably irregular. Do you have any record of how long they lasted before you were on the birth control? Most people with endo that I've known (myself included) had abnormally long periods. So that may be something you address as well. I hope that this information helps! Best of luck with it. It's an awful disorder and it can really impact how you engage in life, so I hope that you get everything sorted out soon.

I think a "normal" cycle is anything in the range of 21 and 35 days. So your pattern looks pretty normal. I suppose if you had big jumps from 21 days to 35 days fairly frequently that would be irregular too. I was always 22 days spot on until I was about 30, then I moved to 24 days everytime until I was about 40, then 26 days until I was 45, then it went completely random sometimes 15 days on followed by 15 days off, sometimes 30 days followed by 10 days on, then 18 days. My last period was 6 weeks long before the docs intervened. Now I don't have that worry anymore
