I am so going crazy now. I hate it. I always start PMS around two weeks to a week before my period. This time was really bad, I had two days of really bad paranoia (scared the roof was going to fall on me, scared to go outside, scared to get out of bed, ect) and now I'm craving everything imaginable. Last night I was craving Chinese so bad that I threw on a sweatshirt and went down to the on campus coffee shop and bought a box of microwavable eggrolls... I know... desperation.... and then heatd them up and ate the entire box. I've probably eaten more in the last two days than I normally eat in four. I HATE PMS!!!!!!

Okay... now that I've ranted back to the original question. I was wondering, when do you guys start having PMS symptoms?

YOU have it right...................... it is any where from two weeks to one week before your cycle is to start - and mine varies with it being one week some times and then two weeks at other times.

HINT: - eat two pieces of DARK CHOCOLATE a few days before your cycle is to start - or when you personally feel the signs coming on.

Good Luck.... ((( HUGS )))

My sister says that her moods plummet a week before her period. She told me that her period will start soon because she noticed a strong craving for sweets. I am not sure when mine starts because my moods go everywhere any ways. I suspect that one week before would be about right. But, sometimes I think it is going to start and my period just waits a while. ( I once stressed my way out of a period. I was like "Eh, I didn't have a period this month."
Nurse: Would you like to take a pregnancy test.
Me: No. I can't be pregnant.
This went on for a few more cycles before she gave up and suggested that I might just be stressing out. I started right in the middle of a lab test at college. So, I don't exactly have predictable period times.

yes, i agree. mine is 2 weeks and has been longer and shorter than that before before, but most of the time just the usual 2 weeks. yes, i hate it also... i have lots of cravings during PMS too. well, hope you find some relief soon. I know its not the same for all women but surprisingly Advil takes all my cramping away, dont know about everything else. but it completely takes care of cramping for me anyways.

My symptoms start about 2 wks before my period. Some months the symptoms are so intense and some months they are livable. On the bad days I don't even like me....can't imagine what others around me think...lol. I am trying to exercise more...chose better food, lessen sugar intake....drink more water. I am hoping it will help.
Good luck.
