i think that i knew it was a chile pepper because i had just moved from New Mexico and somehow the image penetrated my brain from signs and such out there.

My favourite tank top has a chili pepper on it. I always thought it was a carrot, though. Then one day I referred to it as "my carrot shirt" and my friends made fun of me.
I'm still horny, btw. I was having a smoke with the object of my swooning this afternoon and was so tempted to just jump him. A brief, hot 'n heavy make-out session with a colleague in the middle of the university courtyard would have been inappropriate, but it would have been just what I needed. __________________ “Almost everything you do will seem insignificant, but it is important that you do it." - Mahatma Gandhi |

.... not to mention quite sexy. People might well have cheered.
Gotta say though, you gals have it easier in some ways; being younger means that the consequences to eliminating that particular issue are bigger in some instances. ^.^ So horny-ness must simply be lived through. Sucks that the BF lives so far out, but oh well. At least he's there! *snigger* And I LOVE this thread!! It's about time, ladies--we have needs too! __________________ "The Magic has come and done it... the Magic that won't let those worst things ever quite happen." ~A Little Princess |

I heard it was a chili before, but I keep thinking it's a carrot, too!
For us horny ladies, I think Rhapsody was offering us use of her husband. Isn't she the greatest? __________________ Maven If I had a dollar for every time I got distracted, I wish I had some ice cream. Equal Rights Are Not Special Rights |

LOL. Sounds like you and hubby were in for a fun night last night Jinny. And yes, the anticipation is a major turn-on. I know what you mean about that.
Btw, I'm not horny anymore. I had a very good Saturday night/Sunday morning. __________________ “Almost everything you do will seem insignificant, but it is important that you do it." - Mahatma Gandhi |

UUUUGH And here I was so glad it was gone! I'm from the old school so it's embarassing to me. I've gotten to where I don't scroll down on the index page far enough to see these forums!
I can get as rank as the next person but I preffer to keep this topic between close friends and I and away from where the whole world can see or hear what I say! __________________ Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. |

Chacun à son goût!
I'm enjoying this conversation. I'm glad so many women here are comfortable with their sexuality. IMO, it's healthy. No one is being graphic or talking about things like adultery or other embarrassing, destructive (and self-destructive) behaviour. It's just a fun, frank talk about something that's innately human and healthy... emotional and physical feelings. The brain is the most sexual organ we possess... and since we talk so much about what goes on in our brains, I think it's only natural that sexuality would be discussed as well. __________________ “Almost everything you do will seem insignificant, but it is important that you do it." - Mahatma Gandhi |

Sweet.
I, too, find it healthy to talk about these sorts of things with fellow women. __________________ |

I have no clue what you said in that foreign language. A might rude if you ask me, since you have no way of knowing whether I know the language or not. It could tend to make someone feel stupid... not me, though, since I am bi-lingual.
Maybe it's because I have all these things behind me that I don't feel the need to discuss them... or maybe it's the way I was brought up; a lady doesn't discuss private matters in public. Either way, it's good for me. __________________ Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. |

it's 2007.........and, as Juliana said, we aren't talking about cheating with anyone...such as a friend's husband or neighbor or the minister or the yardboy or the mailman or the milkman or the school principal........
sexuality is healthy. it's good that we can come here and talk about it. i believe that establishing this forum was a great thing for John to do!!!!!! we pretty much exhausted the "bunny" thread and this is the real deal now. Juliana, i'm jealous.......i don't see bill for a week and a half!!! |

It's just a saying I use a lot... and it's a very common, well-known saying where I'm from... sort of like "c'est la vie." Most Canadians speak French as well as English, so it's a very common saying here. I didn't realize it wasn't common in the U.S. It just means... "To each his own." It's about celebrating the differences between people. That's all. It wasn't rude. You can Google it.

Just a reminder to all, that if a thread goes against personal beliefs, it is best to ignore it.
