I wanted to post a story here about a love story that happeend to me. Also share some of your stories too!
It was my 16th birthday and I was dating this boy named Mike, that swears he has been in love with me for about 3 years now. I did and didn't believe it, but I knew he had been bothering me about dating him for that long so after a while I decided to give him a chance thinking, "Maybe he's not that bad of a guy." So, it's my 16th birthday and I'm sleeping. One of my favorite songs in the world is "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls. So, Mike had managed to hook his iPod up to speakers and played that song and he sat on my bed and I woke up. I looked at him, then next to me was another pillow that had a notecard with a rose next to it. He had put a trail of notecards that led all the way to the main floor of my house saying cute things with a rose next to each one. Downstairs there he had made me breakfast with pancakes, fruit, eggs, bacon, and orange juice. I was such a happy girl. -------------------------------------------------- Anyone else want to share some stories? __________________ "I tried to be perfect, but nothing was worth it. Nobody's ever done anything that nice for me for my birthday! Most people forget it. Even my mother forgot it this year! (Thanks, Mom!)
For my 16th birthday, a good guy friend made me dinner, though! Candles and everything. It was sweet. |

Oh, that was sweet.
I'll share a love story. It's a little bit odd, but it felt magical at the time. When I was in art school, I was working late in my studio. A friend came by and wanted me to go for coffee. She thought I had been working too much... and I probably was because I was trying to get over a recent break-up. So, we went to a coffee shop and there was a man at the next table. I noticed him... noticed he was writing something and looked sad and kind of tired. I didn't think much about it at the time. The next morning, I woke up and knew I had dreamed about him. I couldn't remember the dream, but I couldn't get him out of my mind. I had no idea who he was, but for some reason, I desperately wanted to see him again. Over the next few months, I started seeing him... from far away, on the street, etc. ... on almost a weekly basis. I felt drawn to him and I didn't know why. It made me feel like I was going crazy. I didn't even know his name or anything about him. One night, my flatmate suggested we go see a friend's band play at a bar. She told me he had an amazing new guitar player whose playing would totally blow me away. So, I went and the guitar player was THE MAN that I had dreamed about and couldn't stop thinking about. We met that night. It turned out we had gone to the same small university at the same time years earlier but never met. We hit it off instantly... felt like we had known each other forever. We fell in love and were together for 7 years.... and we felt like fate had brought us together. When we broke up, at first I felt like fate had played a cruel trick on us and left us both broken-hearted. I was wrong, though. Over time, our hearts healed and we have been best friends for nearly 10 years. I love him dearly. He is one of the most important people in my life. The nature of our love changed, but it's still a story of love. __________________ “Almost everything you do will seem insignificant, but it is important that you do it." - Mahatma Gandhi |

Wow, that's really weird. Sometimes I see people and think about them alot then I end up being their friend and seeing them everywhere!

I have a love story that isn't having such a happy ending.
I am madly in love with my best friend Rex. I think he knows just by little comments he's been making lately. Last week I wanted him to bring me a cookies and cream shake from Chick-fil-A and he said no so I told him well you just don't love me. I was teasing him and he told me that's right I don't love you. I was crushed. Jbug __________________ I appreciate long walks especially when taken by people who annoy me. Noel Coward |
