I would like to try this, but I am kind of wary about what it will do to my skin (very sensitive).
Is it good for aging skin? Mine is very dull-looking and I am also noticing discolouration as well. I've heard it's suppose to help with both (including diminishing fine lines). Any information about this would be greatly appreciated! I'MA GITTIN' OLD!!! __________________ "Lord, we know what we are, yet know not what we may be." Hamlet, Act 4, sc v Wm. Shakespeare |

No one? How about micro-dermabrasion?
Has anyone ever used a peel mask or any such product (which basically does the same thing)? Did it help your skin at all? Am I in the wrong forum? __________________ "Lord, we know what we are, yet know not what we may be." Hamlet, Act 4, sc v Wm. Shakespeare |

I tried Mary Kay's micro-derm abrasion. It was an at home treatment, so its not like the one you'd get in the salon. I liked the way it made my face feel. Very soft. I'd do it again.
Apparently not many of us have done this eh? I didn't reply at first, thinking maybe someone out there had more experince but I guess not lol!!!! __________________ |

At my school, the PE teacher, age 50, very fit, has this done. Her skin was pealing after having it done, but once that stopped, her skin is glowing! She's a real beauty and has it done on a regular basis. I'm too chicken!

I use facial scrubs that are a bit abrasive when I feel a tad oily. Maybe once every week or two. It works for me.

I keep thinking about it, but haven't found the right time. I want to do it maybe on a Friday when I have nothing social planned for the weekend, but that doesn't happen all that often. I certainly don't want to go to work afterward.

I wouldn't rule it out. It is supposed to be very good.
I just use a Stila scrub every couple of days (it is meant for daily use). |
