To be honest, I have no real reason to. I'm afraid I'll forget, and I miss having my period. I don't use birth control to prevent pregnancy, but it's a safety net. And the IUD helps regulate my painful periods.
I don't need to take my IUD out for another two years, but I want to take it out now. Should I wait two more years? |

Since your other plan is to have a rockin body come summer, then until they get the Zika issue solved, i would leave it in, if its not causing any problems.

I would think if it regulates your painful periods successfully that would be reason enough to keep it in. You really MISS painful periods? Would think it a wonderful relief. Can honestly say I don't miss having a period one little bit. So glad that hassle & nuisance is long gone.

I agree. Sometimes we do things that we THINK that we want. Maybe your missing being like a normal girl. Going through things that we used to do, because normal girls have periods. Leave it in, you kick yourself in the butt if later if you do.
