What are the best ways to keep everything groomed down below? How do you deal with the bumps or the sharp hairs when they grow back? What about the hair that is too far back to get, any tips? I can't afford bikini wax and I wish I could.

I use "Bikini Zone" for the bumps. It works really well. Its a gel in a tube at your local drug stores.

I squat in front of the mirror, lol. and yeah, bikini zone works and somethng else called bikini bumps...lots of hot water first, in the shower and always a brady new razor...Also, if you dont let it grow back you get less bumps..but the bikini zone on a couple of times...Bikini zone and bikini bumps arent cheap though...

i get in the shower...and we have one of those things that jut out from the wall...you know...to hold the soap i guess lol....but i put my foot on it and that way its all exposed so i can reach and see what im doing...and i just use a razor ....but in addition to this question...i first use the razor going with the hair...and then i go against hair...is that ok too do? Hmm i dont know...but it works...sometimes it hurts but it works most of the time...

well, my hubby does it for me... He has never knicked me and gets me so smooth... First he trims it down as far as he can with eletric trimmer (men's trimmer by the way) and then he lathers me up real good with sahving gel/cream and hot water... then he users several new razors to shave me... washes me up and checks out his work and if not satisfied repeats process on the areas that need it... not sure if he does anything else as far as technique or product but I find he does a better job than I do... I've seen it at Walgreens by the register before, but its not always there. They carry it on their website, here's the link. Not sure if that means they have it in the store though.Nads at Walgreens

Hi all,

I use a Venus Vibrance razor because I tend to cut myself with regular razors-and even sometimes with this one!! Tips on grooming below the waist Tips on grooming below the waist

Anyhow, it gets the hair off well. I've had my legs waxed occasionally & they're so SOFT afterwards!

Need to buy a new razor because I'll be swimming next week!

peace,

AC

This is a good topic. I shaved many years ago, and didn't have too many problems with it getting itchy when the hair grew back, but it grew back in a way I didn't like, with a thick tuft of hair right on my mound where the outer lips met, and I tried shaving it in different ways, until I got the hair to grow back the right way. Haven't shaved it since.

But, I'd like to go back to it, except for the work involved, because it was better during "that time of the month." Still, it's healthier to have the hair.

Ok.. this isnt below the waist.. but I just tried the NADS Facial Wand. It worked great!! I did my eyebrows.. something I havent done for years .. I usually get them done at my former work place with my former boss doing it. But I followed her guide and wow.. I didnt have as much ( what little it was ) discomfort with the NADS as I do the hotwax. I think I am gonna try my legs next here and see how that goes. The great thing I read is that the strips they provide are washable really !! the NADS comes off really easy!!

Okay, I just read through this thread and it sounds like you guys are shaving it all off. Is that right? Are you shaving down to nothing?

I think they are.
But I think it looks weird with absolutely nothing so I always have to leave a bit. My bf does it and always wants it to grow back faster.
But that's men for you
