I refuse to wear bras. I've never willingly worn a bra, hate them, hate wearing them, hate shopping for them, I keep a bra on hand but I have not worn them in years. It's freeing. I wear clothing with thick materials so that nipples don't show. I know I am a small majority. I know most women wear bras for all kinds of reasons, but I would like to know if anyone here does not wear bras.

Noop. Theyre always either sliding up or around and im pulling and tucking til it looks like ive got a tic. It probably cost me in my career but there were a lot of straws on that poor camels back! Plus they are a fairly recent invention. Im not sure they dont cause breast cancer or at least contribute to it.

Little confused..you don't wear them?

And yes...bras are so uncomfortable! People say that your boobs will sag if you don't wear bras but guess what they're going to sag whether or not you wear one...

I buy them, meaning to turn over a new leaf, but it never lasts very long. My bff in high school warned me they would sag down to my waist - they never made it! But i would fail the pencil under the boob test now that ive gotten fat.

I have a bra that gets worn only with certain cloths. I have a full slip that I wear with certain dresses so I don't have to wear a bra.

I hated bra's from the time I was a kid & my grandma tried to brainwash me back in the 1960's of how important they were. Lol back in my day there were others feeling the same way & women were burning their bras.

I have always been an AA or A which i have always been thankful for, so the need for a bra wasn't there....lol NOTHING to hold up. Even though I was an only child I grew up in a neighborhood of all guys & i was always just one of of the guys.

My computer engineering career was working mostly with only guys for the first 10 years & I played racquetball as their equal at lunch. The wet T-shirt contest look wasnt for me & being completely drenched with sweat after the games I thought it appropriate to wear sports bras & I found some semi comfortable bras to wear to work just because I thought it more professional & didn't want to be the talk of any guys who might not think of me as one of the guys.

It's just as hard to find 32 AA bras as it is the larger ones. I think they used to call them "training bras".

When I no longer worked, I no longer wore bras & now, living alone & working on my farm who needs them & the bra discomfort. I have certain tops I won't wear without one. Most dresses I just throw on a full slip which makes there be no need for one. Wow, I wear a dress maybe 3 times a year. Winters I live in sweats, turtle necks, sweatshirts & muck boots. Even riding a horse throughout the year I won't wear a bra & when I choose to, it's a sports braw.

I HATE BRAS & always have.

I rarely wear a bra. I do believe they are the main cause of breast cancer. (You have lots of lymph nodes in the breast and underarm area.) And I do not believe bras have anything to do with size or sagginess or firmness. I agree they do make breasts look nicer, and keep them where you want them. But you can't make me wear one!

I wish I did not have to wear a bra but I am an H-cup and it hurts if I don't wear one

I went through a phase where I was determined to find out my real bra size. Well, I found out. I'm a 30C. How useless is that? I have a couple of expensive bras I wear once in awhile, but for the most part, I've switched to basically slightly padded training bras, which are basically like really light weight sports bras. But I have started to have bra-less Thursdays and Sundays. Granted, I generally don't leave the house those days, but if I do, I don't worry about it.

I'm kind of with Eskie. I don't think I could not wear one to work.

I need to wear a bra when I go out or I feel like everyone is staring at my jiggly boobs, especially guys. Being a 38C doesn't help in that department either.

I'm 19 years old - have cup F/G - and my breasts already reach my waist.

ETA: And I do wear bras. It really hurts my breasts if I don't.

No, not about to throw mine away. I have many different bras for many different occasions - one thing they all have in common is I have to wear the ones with thicker padding or my nipples show through/chafe!

Sports bras are a must, the amount of jogging I do I suspect they'd be scraping the pavement if I didn't wear them.

Not that they are big (far from!) but it just feels all wrong if I don't wear one. Each to their own!

I'm 18 and have F cup. It doesn't hurt to not wear a bra, but it gets pretty emberrassing when running. I wear bras when going out but will get rid of them as soon as I come home. They're uncomfortable.

I hate bras with a passion, but I'm a 40DDD which pretty much means I have to wear one to go out. My biggest pet peeve is the straps falling of my shoulders, For that reason I prefer sports bras, but they don't look good with certain of my outfits.

But if I'm staying home, I will not wear one. I take mine off as soon as I get home.

Like many of you, I might not wear a bra when I'm staying at home, but I always wear one when going out. My boobs droop enough as it is at my age.

Not at all when I'm at home, unless I have company over. It's way to obvious when I leave the house, and I would feel uncomfortable otherwise. My sister has a smaller chest than I do, so she can get away with it. But at a 38DDD, it's not as easy to be outside without one. For me, at least.

I have a thing called a Magic Clip that sort of makes a sports bra out of a normal bra by keeping the straps together on your back. Maybe you can try that also?
Thanks for this!

I avoid them at home, but I definitely wear them when I go out. I teach high schoolers; a bra is a must.

i'm small (a/b) and wear really loose fitting sport bras. but i have toyed with the idea of not wearing them anymore and adjusting the shirts i wear so that all is covered up. it is encouraging to know that others do the same, maybe i'll actually go through with it now

I have to wear a bra to work. But when I get home I ditch it. In the winter time I wear them less because I can wear a sweatshirt.
