All my pants and pjs make my butt hang out. I was at an interview and they sent me to watch some videos, halfway through a worker came up to me and told me to pull up my pants...I was mortified that this happened at a JOB INTERVIEW! Luckily it wasn't the person who was interviewing me but embarrassing all the same.

My grandmother took me to goodwill and I happened to find a pair of pants that were not only brand new but fit me the way it should be. Then I went to Kmart and found a pair of work pants that fit me like the ones I found at Goodwill.

At least now I have an idea of how pants are supposed to fit, but my butt is friggin huge and I'm wondering what style of pants (higher waist, average, tall, etc) I need to be looking for in the future so I'm not trying on a zillion pants to find out which fit properly.

hmmm, I have a seen a site in the past where they have examples of best fit pants by figure type. But I can't remember where, when ... grrrr!
I have a pretty big difference between waist & hip so many pants with a higher waist need to have the waist adjusted (bigger darts put in). Basically, you buy for the biggest part of the body & deal with the rest. Thank goodness for lower waisted pants - that helps me avoid the issue altogether. And longer tops that don't get tucked in are a huge help.
If I can locate that site, I'll come back & post the link.

Maybe a draw string or belt might work?

I have an issue although I'm petite I have a ratio between my waist/hips which means my pants slide down without a belt. Low waisted are best but they don't seem to be in the shops these days.

On line they go by your body shape, pear, A frame, etc. Then you take the shape and it tells you whether you need a longer waist, shorter waist, etc. Fashion Bug uses a new way of selling closes. they did away with sizes and just do 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. and the colour defines the cut ,,, larger butt, smaller butt, etc.
Is there a Fashion Bug near you? I am sure they are on line and describe with visuals the type of pants and the cut you are looking for. Blessings and tc

Your butt is awesome. Cope with it. If others try to shame you for your awesome butt, shame them for shaming you.

OMG!! I have the huge butt problem, too. I can have a muffin top hanging over in front, with a 3"+ gap in back of my jeans. Ugh!!
I avoid Rider brands, they're especially bad about only making jean styles for women with flat butts.
You might try some styles of Levi jeans. I really love some styles of Chic jeans, but they don't make those anymore.
Low waisted jeans aren't good for women with big butts, they're a nightmare. I stick with a normal to high waist.
I hope you find something that works for you.
Don't be ashamed of your booty, girl.

Try wearing stretchy pants. Maybe jeans with spandex in it would be good, or anything with spandex in it. And avoid anything that rides low on the waist. Try wearing skirts and dresses and see if that helps. You can always try to wear a long shirt, jacket, or sweater to deal with any rides ups and to hide your butt if you think it's to big.
