I was raped some time ago and again five months ago. I was a virgin and I can't get over the fact that I am not anymore. I don't know how to get past it. I have tried to talk but got "it's just your virginity. No one really cares."
It meant a lot to me. I felt...clean.

For some reason, a lot have said it was expected of me because both of them and I were together at that time.

That is one thing therapy might help you with. Get help if you can, but if you can't, don't let yourself worry over things out of your control.

I'm sorry this happened to you. And I'm sorry you got this reaction.

You might want to check if RAINN has some resources that can help you. At the very least you can chat with a trained volunteer through the website, they might have more ideas.

Also here on PC are two forums that might be of help to you: namely the Post-Traumatic Stress forum (forums.psychcentral.com/post-traumatic-stress/) and the Survivors of Abuse forum (http://forums.psychcentral.com/survivors-abuse/). Feel free to post wherever you feel most comfortable.

You're not alone.
