Does anyone take it? I went to see my GP this afternoon for my daughter, she is 19 and has autism and selective mutism, she also suffers really bad when she is on her periods with the likes of pains in her stomach, depression and dizziness. My 2 nieces take it and says it is good and stops the pain. My daughter is going to start taking it tomorrow.

I take it for contraception. I have to warn you that my periods are all over the place with random bleeding which still hasn't quite settled (although it's getting better!) I was also more anxious at first, but that settled after a week or two. I still get quite bad pains in my stomach too (period pain!)

I think it honestly depends on the person. I'd definitely let your daughter try them, but just keep an eye on how everything is I've heard for some people periods stop all together!
