I've been on and off the pill for regulate me for ages. Well the current one I'm on (apri) has turned me into a bloated cow. I feel awful. So pretty much I need a new birth control, preferably a pill, that won't blow me up. I also just picked up weight training again and I read that the estrogen in the pill can keep you from gaining muscle. So pretty much how it works is it trades your good muscle for water logged fat Need a new birth control. Weight gain.Need a new birth control. Weight gain.

I'd probably call your dr's office right away and ask for a different one. Wish I could recommend one but the one you're on is the one I'm on and our bodies reacted differently to it.
