Is anyone else experiencing this? I am 50 so obviously of that age. What I am experiencing is an inability to regulate body temperature. I feel the extremes. I am either hot or cold. It is summer yet I have spent much of it wearing a sweater and wrapped in a blanket. Four degrees warmer outside and I am sweltering it is so hot. This has not been a particularly fun month.

It doesn't sound like it. Maybe you should mention it to your doctor. Perhaps something can be done about your "thermostat."
