Im really moody today. My period will start this weekend, or early next week, so I'm kind of relieved it might just be PMS. I get that.
I had a good day today, actually, but then I went to yoga. It was actually really really nice. But then my good friend's ex boyfriend asked for my number, afterward. I felt obliged to give it to him, even though I felt slightly uncomfortable, and didn't really want to. I think he's just looking for friends, which is good bc I'm not interested in him and wouldn't get involved w him anyway bc he's my good friend's ex. But afterward, driving home, I felt very agitated and bothered, and that number thing was on my mind. I drove around looking for food, but couldn't get myself to go in anyplace to get food, bc too many people, I didn't want to face crowds, and I didn't want drive thru food. I ended up just getting coffee which I didn't want and going home to make pizza. Again, I feel like this was very weird. My behavior of driving around afraid to go in, thoughts, level of anxiety, irritability, etc. I'm sure it will go away. I think I'm really annoyed he wanted to communicate with me via text. I don't know why. I guess I just am not too interested and nervous about what his intentions are. |

Hi starrysky, Well, the driving around and afraid to go in places seems like anxiety and stress overload.
I'd feel the way you do if my good friend's ex asked for my number. |

Hi Laurie, thank you. Yeah. I know. I have anxiety. I think though, I was triggered bc while I don't normally like crowds, its not that bad usually. He texted me some randomness, and wanted to talk on the phone. I point blank said thanks, but I'm not interested, and that I'd see him in yoga.

Maybe telling your friend will reduce your anxiety, as well as telling the guy you don't want to be friends with him after all? You could say it's not personal it's that you feel uncomfortable as he dated your friend. Will that reduce your anxiety? xo

Hi GlamSlam. Thank you. I'm feeling better since I told him. But I asked her to call me when she gets a chance earlier.

Oh. I forgot to say that they are still really good friends. My friend, and the guy. So I don't think I'm going to say that to him right now. And I feel better just dropping it since I already said something to him.
