I have some IMPORTANT Information for menopausal AND Post Menopausall Women! Do you have pain at insertion at intercourse? Do you have “painful” intercourse? Do you have dryness in the vagina? Do you have frequent yeast infections, or Vaginitis? There IS help! My Ob/Gyn advised me that the above situations are very normal for us “older” women! A LOT of women give up on having sex “completely” because of the above issues! All of the situations happened to me and I was ready to give sex up forever. Luckily; I found a Great Ob/Gyn Professor at Oregon Health and Sciences University; here in Portland; Oregon. She (Dr. Karen Adams); examined me and concluded that I did indeed have all of the symptoms described above. Sooooo, she prescribed a Lidocaine Solution that is placed into a Cotten ball, then applied to the entrance of the vagina and surrounding entrance. Then wait 5 minutes before intercourse. It worked! She (also) prescribed an Estrogen Cream that is applied to all areas around the vaginal, including the labia and clitoris. I applied that every day for 2 weeks, then reduced to 3 times a week. Another VERY important cure is to use SILICONE liberication...NOT...Water Soluable products like KY. No comparison! Silicone is the only way to go! I (truly), hope that this information helps a LOT of women. Men get all the attention with Testosterone issues and male enhancement products. Now, it is OUR turn to help others to help themselves! Please, DO NOT be afraid to talk to your Doctor about your personal issues. They will listen and refer you to OB/Gyn for further evaluation. Sex is NOT dead as we age! KKFK . |
