My last period was light and only 3 days maybe 4. Pregnancy test negative. Body possibly regulating because periods used to start around the 15th, but after two months on the pill they were happening around the 30th. Last period 3rd to 7th of Dec. Stopped the pill 4 months ago was not on it for birth control. I haven't taken a pregnancy test lately but I took 4 and all were negative last month and the last test was two weeks ago. Really wondering why my body is so wacky. I have gained about 20 lbs since I quit walking which I'm started again last week. Help I'm confused.

When you quit BC it takes a while for your body to adjust. If you're worried about it though contact your OBGYN.
Thanks for this!

I agree with Moreta. See your doctor if you are concerned. It does sound like a pain to keep having to do the pregnancy tests.

Just have to ask this....you wrote you “stopped the pill 4 months ago was not on it for birth control.”
So are you using something else for BC....if you’re having sex which is why you’re taking these pregnancy tests...for sex you’re not having???
Sorry I got it a bit twisted.

Still negative test and no period. I think I'll call my doctor next week very odd.

Of course, I don't know what the specifics of your sexual situation are. But be aware that even if a man doesn't fully ejaculate his penis can drip a drop or two of semen (which neither of you might even be aware of), which is enough to cause pregnancy.

Why aren't you on birth control? Bad idea.

I'm not on it for medical reasons. I have a blood clotting disorder. The IUD caused major health issues for me, so I'm done with birth control.

If you don't want to get pregnant, use condoms. The only reason to have unprotected sex is to get pregnant. There's such a thing as female condoms you can use if the male condoms aren't a go.
