I am rather lucky I have hit the point where I don't have them anymore....naturally this time. I was having my periods regularly up until 3 years ago when I was dealing with anorexia because of the stress I was going through......it just up & stopped (which it different than the previou time I was dealing with anorexia) The previous time, & was dealing with even lower weight loss & the period continued endlessly. I guess this time, it just came at that time that was my time of life change. I had 2 periods (that was over a year ago) then they just disappeared again.

It is definitely wonderful to not be bothered like that.....not to make anyone jealous, but look forward to the fact that it isn't a permanent thing.

Debbie

I know what you mean.

For me it was so heavy, it made me hot, it made me ill, it HURT. That stopped for a few years, but started again, and I had to leave a GCSE exam halfway through and the one in the afternoon entirely.

So I started on the pill. And it's wonderful, the thing barely exists to me anymore ^^

I hate them with a passion. I get the 6 days heavy out of 7 period with awful knife stabbing pains. And every once and awhile i will puke because the pains are so bad. BC always helped with that, but im not on any bc now. The only positive thing that rolls around when im on my cycle is that my stools are very soft, and considering i have constipation, this is a great releif.
