I have a male friend who thinks women over 40 do not want, nor like sex.

Is that what we think? I, for one, do not think this.

Others?
Okie

Tell your friend "I Care to Differ" - as many women over 40 are just starting to go into over drive where sexual desire is concerned due to the physical taking place in the body.... their estrogen level is now decreasing, therefore, the testosterone is becoming the controlling hormone in them.

Not to mention that women over 40 are more confident than ever and this shows up in their sex life.

No, I am over 40 and really like sex, just as much now as in my 20s. I have found it to be the opposite, actually (many--but not all--men have decreasing libido as they age).

Hmmmm......I hear that sentiment Dalila. Sex over 40

I'm not over 40 but my boyfriend just turned 40. I'm always rarin to go but he's not......Maybe I should use that "better get ready hon" line on him when he comes over after work. Sex over 40

I am 42 and my sex life is just starting again. From 25 to 40, I was taken up with single parenting and my children took priority. Now, my sons are grown up and I do not need to be wondering what is appropriate content for them so my life is just starting to kick back into gear.

I am 49 and have been celibate 7 years since the tragic death of my BF. I have thought about sex and do enjoy flirting with some people. Both my therapist and my doc said start with toys when I was thinking about becoming sexually active earlier this year and that was great advice. I have no desire for a sexual partner who is going to criticize me and try to change me. My sex toys don't do that so I think I will continue to be celibate unless I meet somebody special. Right now I am looking for a sex toy that will also weed eat my yard; if I can find that I will have no use for a partner LOL
