One of my best friends is a massage therapist. I've only ever had one from her, awhile ago when I had money to do it. She just did it at her house at a reduced rate and it was awesome!!

She works at a salon and the other day she said she wanted to be done by 5pm Saturday so she booked an appointment under my name. I said ok and then I'll cancel my appointment. She said why would you do that? And I said so she could get out at five. And she was like noooo I just don't want to massage someone I don't know at 5, so your booked and confirned and paid for, just show up.

Wow!!! I get an hour massage AT the salon, for free!!!! And I've been in so much pain.....what a wonderful friend!!

I get massages regularly; my Dr prescribes to help with the physical discomfort I have, I can also take a tax deduction as medical care.
On one of my worst days this summer my friend came over to spend the morning with me. After she left I took off for my massage appt. When I got there the owner told me that my friend had called ahead and paid for a 90 minute massage.
Friends are priceless! Raynaadi, I hope you enjoyed your massage.

WOW awesome friend!!

My massage was incredible. I got to the salon and they have you change and put your clothes in a locker and put a robe on. So I was waiting for my friend and she came out and said "Wanna do something fun?? Can I exfoliate you?" WoW!!! She massaged me with an exfoliant so now my skin feels absolutely amazing.

Through the course of the massage she came to my left shoulder and its BAD. She said its gonna take her a lot of time to work that one down. So she said I need to get a massage once a month and then said I just need to call her. I told her its hard because thats how she makes her living. She said "you're my best friend and you're in pain, what, 90 percent of the time? So I'm gonna massage you monthly and you just get me a cup of coffee every so often."

She's so wonderful........I'll probably start doing it at her house though, because I saw her pay for my treatment yesterday. If we do it at her house it doesn't cost her.

Check with your doctor. He/she might be able to work it out for you.

I found out that I have some insurance money left so I can get a massage again this month and chiro appt. I thought I had used it up. I really need it as my fibro is flaring up bad. So this is a pleasant surprise.
