Has anyone else seen Amy Schumer's Netflix Show: 'Growing?'
It's really funny and she also covers some important topics in her own unique way. Topics include pregnancy, dating, being married to someone living with Asperger's, female sexuality, the Brett Kavanaugh appointment, women's fears and more. Note that she is a person who swears and is very comfortable getting into some gritty details including sexual descriptions...so if that would make you uncomfortable, you would want to skip this show. ******She also refers to violence against women which I realize would be triggering for some folks.****** If anyone else watched her show, I'd love to hear your thoughts. |

I watched it and thought it was hilarious, just like all her other raunchy stand up shows.
I was surprised when she lifted her dress and showed her belly though....nah,I guess I would expect her to do something like that, but it still surprised me. |

I thought her comments about her love for her husband's eccentricities were beautiful. I don't think I've seen much of her other stand-up...is there a particular one you'd recommend? |

"The Leather Special" was pretty funny.I think it was in 2017. I can't think of the names of the others off hand but I have seen just about every stand up performance and every movie she's been in.I think she's hilarious and down to Earth and says things that other people are afraid to say.
I even loved her movie "I feel pretty" even though she received a lot of backlash over it. |

I didn't get to see it yet, but I've loved her for YEARS. She was one of the first female comics that I related to. The one show I will recommend is one of her earliest shows on Comedy Central - the video says its 2017, but I think this is a much earlier show, I think maybe 2008 or so.
Anyway, the quality isn't that great but this is the only video I found of the whole special. Enjoy! __________________ Tales of Love, Motivation, and An Interesting Journey - Please Subscribe to my Website on WordPress: Inspired Odyssey's Path to Wellness and Love |
