I frequently read advice from well intentioned people re various (probably not life threatening) issues saying “talk to your doctor” ....

I occasionally read a women’s magazine which says “pop along to your GP...”

Well... one of the less “endearing” things about being a fuzzy bear is that....

Medical professionals (in real life) don’t seem to want to help me. If they do speak to me they tend to be abrupt, even rude, and even use “scare tactics”

And it’s not as if I “waste” their time.. I’ve probably spent a total of 30 minutes in the last decade talking to a doctor

Papa bear (my SO) has not had this experience. But then he isn’t “neurotic”

I even had a dental hygienist using scare tactics recently. . Of course, I’m “too sensitive”..... however like everyone else I deserve kindness and respect....

Feel free to ignore my rant.

Btw my jungle is the uk.

Love to all

They don't want to help you. I have accepted this. I mostly now read up on health topics myself and take care of myself. On occasion I can't... ie. the recent root canal I had but, before I got that I went to three different dentists to make sure I had no choice.

I collect my records after every visit.

I sometimes purchase blood tests on my own.

I sometimes look up symptoms of things that will get the test I am looking for the take the symptoms.

I even do this for my cat as I have found the vets to imho, not care a lick about me or my cat and seem perfectly happy to torture me and my cat.

Currently, it is a bit of a war and I am using guerrilla tactics to keep me and my cat in the best shape we can possibly be.
