Hello to all you beauties
I need some support and advise I had a total hystorectomy in sept of last yr. I went home the next day. 2 days later i wasnt able to pee on my own. I was catherterized and admitted. Had an ultrasound done and told i had a hole in my bladder which the surgeon was supposed to fix in another surgery. I started to leak randomly to the poinylt i had to weear thick pads and eventually had a cytoscopy which dr said the hole was not closed??. Anyway i ended up going to a urogyno whom finally told me what i had a vesical vagina fistula which is basically a cut between the vagina and bladder which the other doctor failed to tell me i am going to have to have another surgery in march to close it and im still in catherter I have reached out to a couple of attorney who feel they cant take th case because their medical reviwer suggested complications but i know it ahould not have hapoenef. I still have no answers and i want justice. I thought about going out of state. Does anyone have any idea. I feel as tho the medical sys and legal sys has let me down at this point |

Your situation sounds frightening and frustrating - to say the least. It does seem that the medical system has let you down. I'm unclear as to what you mean by "...because their medical reviewer suggested complications but i know it should not have happened."

Thank you. In my state an atty has to have a medical doc review their cases in order to go forward with a lawsuit. And he chalked it up to complications. Even tho the hospital coded it ad accidental injury to an organ
