I’ve been having my period a week early for about a year, my metabolism seems to have slowed and this month I got my period over a week late.

I think I’m having menopause or early menopause symptoms and for the first time ever I am freaking out about getting older.

Everything else about me is young. I look ten years younger than I am and I have a good amount of energy. However, menopause scares me. I’ve been reading up about it and I dread it.. a lower sex drive? Less energy? Boobs less full? Weight gain? Hot flashes, mood swings and missed periods????

Aaaaaggggh!!! Seriously???

Don’t us women have to deal with enough with our bodily changes, challenges and tribulations?

I’m really not happy about this sudden change.

Anyone else going through this too? Can anyone relate?

Well except for that whole pre cancer thing that I am currently dealing with, for the most part I found menopause to be a dream. It was very gentle to me and I didn't have many symptoms. But premenopause was HELL

Oh dear... I pray you will be ok!!!!! I’m sooo sorry to hear this- how awful and scary for you!! Big hugs.

Yes this feels like hell at present. Not fun. I don’t even think I’m experiencing all symptoms yet. Kind of a relief to hear u had an easier time with menopause itself.

If you are so disposed, when my primenopause symptoms were at their worst... I took a progesterone cream you can get on amazon. This was recommended in a book called "what your doctor won't tell you about perimenopause. To my shock it really worked. It reduced the blood flow and some of my anger etc.

Hey I just wanted to drop a quick note that I will come back to this thread I’m a little busy today. I literally just had confirmed that I was in menopause. More later
