After a few years of pain, many tests and not knowing the cause (and severe depression and anxiety) I have been told I could have PMDD. I'm 19 and from England... and I've never heard of it, so I looked it up and found some good websites.
At the moment my gynecologist is getting me to take Cerazette to see if it helps. On the websites I read about women taking other things too (as well as vitamin and mineral tablets regularly).
Does anyone here have PMDD and do you have any advice for me?

I haven't had an endo test (and personally think my symptoms seem to fit with that more), but my docs think I'm too young so are dubious until they can rule out PMDD.

Oh and how long after starting the progesterone only pill did your pain ease?

Thanks,
Molly

I have dealt with severe PMDD for many year snow and the best advice I will give you is to talk to your doctor about being placed on Sarafem or Celexa...... and to eat 2 pieces of Dark Chocolate every day during your period.

I have written other threads on this issue as have other members here on PC - just type PMDD in the search bar located in the upper right corner...... Good Luck.
