I’m 35 and everything had been fine with period I came right as it’s supposed to. This time been heavy which is normal for first few days but this time it was heavy entire time. I’ve been having uti symptoms but without the burning. Yesterday my period was supposed to end but still bleeding when I wipe bright blood. I’m still feeling bloated. I don’t know what’s wrong I don’t sex I know I’m by pregnant and what I read could be wrong is all bad things. I have low iron as it is from heavy periods im worried that now I’m still bleeding. I don’t know if it’s gonna stop and I’m afraid there’s something wrong

It would be a good idea to make an appointment with your doc to make sure all is okay. There are a lot of reasons for the bleeding. Okay?

True thing is my period has never been long it always been on time ontu few times was it early or late but it’s been normal most of time that’s why this is scaring me. I have been stressed I’m sure that is part of it. You don’t think out of nowhere having one a long period one time would be something bad right

I have no idea what's causing it--maybe something not that big a deal....But a doctor could check it out and you'd know. You might be worrying needlessly--but it would be important to know for sure. Okay?

Well my first thought is miscarriage. That type of bleeding can last up to 6 weeks. I'd schedule with a dr to make sure you don't have fibroids or polyps or something. Bleeding like this needs medical attention.

Periods can be weird sometimes so try not to worry too much, if it’s just a few days longer than normal that’s not unusual. If it persists it’s a good idea like TL says to consult your Dr.
How are you doing today? |

I agree with others about speaking with a doctor, they can have a look if they are concerned, which is something a forum cannot do

Neverever we can’t diagnose you, only a Dr can do that. I’m sorry I’m not in the US so I don’t know what options are available to you.
In the UK we have a non emergency medical queries phone line, where we can speak to a nurse who decides if we ought to speak to a Dr or see one. Is there anything like that you can access? Or a walk in medical centre? Could you speak to a pharmacist? I’m hoping someone in the US can provide guidance on accessing medical help at free or lower cost. You could have any number of things going on, it might be something that can be easily treated if seen quickly enough. |

I wanted to know if anyone has ever had symptoms like this but it wasn’t anything bad. Is it possible me period being longer is a separate prob than the bloating and gas and uti type symptoms

If you don't have health insurance, you can go to the emergency room and they will treat you. They are obligated to by law. A period this long is concerning and could be something serious. But there is no way for us to know what the problem is. None of us are medical professionals and even if we were we have not examined you. They may have to do an ultrasound and/or other tests.

Since last night it seemed to stop bleeding but I thought it stopped other day and then it was bleeding again. For now no blood but the pain still is hurting. I woke up feeling very gassy and bloated pressing near my ribs hurts both sides assuming it’s has. My pain is very low into back hurts a lot. I took motrin for days it’s not helping. Pain goes into my pelvic area they sides and fe it in right groin into leg. Are the two things connected or they different. Could this be had causing pain

Please head to the emergency room. It's hard to know what it is, but the doctors there can help you.....Even if the bleeding stops......Could be fibroids but could be something that needs to be fixed. And at least you'd know and get it dealt with. Okay?
And let us know what the doctors say. .We care..... |
