I'm a new mom, work-full time, and take care of everything in our household. Every single day I sit and wonder: when are my needs going to matter? When is my husband going to help take care of me for a change?
Listen, I get that women are strong. We can do anything and everything. Honestly, I think we're penalized for it because we're then expected to do it all. I'm treading on angry and bitter. |

That sounds like a lot to cope with. Do you talk to your husband about helping out more? It sounds like you’re doing more around the home/childcare than him.
Oh and in answer to your question our needs matter very much, even when we are parents. |

Check out narcissism. If your partner cared about you, he would step it up.

I understand how you feel. It can be so hard when your trying to hold it together but it feels nearly impossible.
