OK I am thinking of going on a diet. I searched up some effective diets last night and I stumbled upon the cabbage soup diet. Some people calimed to it having worked, others said it's just water loss, and then there are those saying it's a good starter diet?? Jus wondering if it's a good idea to start this diet. I'm thinking of doing it starting next weekend..

xx

diets dont work i dont think. they take off the pounds but you just put them back on when youre done. the weight shouldnt be a concern, just how healthy you are. i started doing pilates thinking i would lose weight. nope. actually gained weight from my muscle, but i know im healthier and stronger, so its not a big deal. i think as long as youre healthy, thats what matters. some people are just built bigger, like me for example. so exercising is the best way to do that. i never recommend any diet except eating right daily.

Ehh if you were just eating cabbage soup, to me that would be one hard strict diet. I would totally get sick of the stuff a week into it.

I wouldn't use cabbage, you can use any veggie so I'd use one I liked better.

Personaly, I would not recomend a "diet" because they really aren't that healthy. Myself, as well as alot of other people that I know simply loose weight b increasing their activity level and watching what they eat- when you hit a "plateau" (when even though you are doing all the right things, you aren't loosing weight) then either change your routing, or take a break for awhile because your body needs to slow down, or be tricked into loosing more weight by changing the activities around.
