Oh gosh this is so difficult for me. I never have had a "type" of man. I have dated jocks, nerds, effeminate guys, VERY masculine guys... every type of guy really I think. (wow that makes me sound sort of loose doesnt it? what is it about men that.... )

Here are things I like.

I like a man who is gentle, but not to the point of being oversensitive. I like a man who is not afraid to be a man when I need one (like when we are in bed at night and I think I have heard a noise downstairs and am too afraid to go check) and not afraid to be gentle when they need to (like when they think noone is watching and they pass out with the baby or the cat all cuddled up) That to me is a real man.

I have been attracted to SOME strength in the past.. although to be honest I do not personally find myself attracted to very large muscles. In fact, I love when men have a little bit of a belly - Its divine to lay on when watching television while getting your hair stroked.

I like how men balance me too - they provide the yin to the yang if you know what I mean.

and of course there is the obvious what is it about men that....

i like a man who is comfortable enough in his manhood to get caught feeding racoons (who tear up the trash) cat food cause they look hungry. is scarey enough to have actually made some horrid boy my daughter brought home at the age of 15 pee his pants without trying to be intimidating, and sweet and cuddly enough to be adored by his daughters and grandchildren (and me) he is 45 years old and still has barely any chest hair. and he love and appreciates me enough that after 20 years of marriage he still thanks me every nite when i fix him dinner, and means it. and who doesn't understand why i am scared of the whole world, but will staand beside me and make me feel safe when ever i get up enough nerve to leave the house, with never a complaint. that is my idea of the perfect man.
