oops! I missed this thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm here! I'm fine! Rhapsody is right - I'm fine. Doing a lot of nesting and resting, but am also swamped with other areas of my life, such as mopping up my dad's estate (what a mess... you wouldn't believe it), selling my dad's house, buying my stepmom a new house, negotiating a new contract for what I will do after my maternity leave is over, and we're finally on the upswing after my husband went off all of his meds - he's finally stabilizing after an excruciating month of irritability and erratic behavior. It's nice to have "him" back! Also trying to just get some general administration and spring cleaning done - I'm really enjoying having some time off! It's been a long time since I've had time just for me ...and probably will be a long time until I have it again! Thanks for asking and caring __________________ thatsallicantypewithonehand |

Heh - I was antsy a week or two ago, but I'm actually pretty content now. I just want her to be as healthy and happy as she can be, and I think that life on the inside is good for that (provided that I'm not miserable and stressed out, which, knock on wood, isn't the case at the moment).
I really can't wait to kiss her little face, though! I've been spending HOURS in her bedroom, rearranging her clothes, admiring her diaper covers, etc... __________________ thatsallicantypewithonehand |

oh Lmo! Are you cloth diapering? if so YAY for you. I assume thats what you mean by diaper covers. I am trying to slowly build up a collection of cloth diapers myself. There a bit expensive and it means lots of wash, but definetely better for the environment. |

We're doing a cloth diaper service ($17/week; doesn't include covers) for the first month or two, then plan to switch to washing them ourselves. You can get cloth diapers and covers almost for free on Craigslist, so we're slowly building our supply. I also got some g-diapers for long days out of the house - they are a tiny bit more expensive than the diaper service, but when you consider the impact of not using excess wash water, they're still a pretty good deal. Especially when you consider that you're not spending extra on trash service for 70 disposable diapers per week - we pay our garbage service by the size of our trash can, and therefore factored in what that would cost. Plus, I'm not such a fan of consumerism in that way, regardless.
