i only saw serious issues with my period when i didnt have one for 4 months and im a virgin. turns out i have hypothyroidism. since that dx in dec 07 ive been on bc and synthroid to help regulate it all, but im wondering if my thyroid can cause things to be worse when i am on my period. since im regulated i have horrible cramps and the emotions are waaaaaaaay bad.

((((Hallie))))) The bad cramps tend to come when you are first getting regulated. After awhile (but maybe not for a year or so) they should ease up.
As for the moods, are they up or down or fuming? LOL I get reaaaaally crabby during my period and right before it. |

(((((Hallie))))) Have you concidered birth control pills to help with the cramps and mood swings? They can make a huge difference.
