I finally got an appointment with a gyno next month. One of the things I will be asking for is birth control. Not because I will be using it for birth control but for regulating my periods. I tend to have hard periods. Do any of you know of a good one I can ask for? I have PMS but not PMDD. I also have PCOS which is one of the reasons for my bad periods. Now that I have quit smoking I can be on the pill.

I am trying Yaz and it seems to be going very well, I am into my 3rd month and the only problem that I have had is some extra bleeding only the first month. I am taking it to help with PMDD and it is helping. I wish you luck with this.... I hope you find the what will work for you quickly and feel better.
take care

I've been seeing the ads for Yaz and my insurance pays for Yaz and I was thinking about that one. I canceled the appointment with the gyno and I just didn't feel right about this one. I just got a funny feeling about her after talking with her office staff so when I go to see my GP I will ask him who he recommends.
