Hi All
I was wondering if anyone is on the IUD (copper coil not the mirina). I have been on the pill for about 2 years now and i would like to change to something that hormone free.
Any experience (good or bad) is appreciated.

Thanks in advance

i had one years ago, loved it till i got together with hubby. he is extra large and i am very small, he kept getting poked with the string. my daughter has one now, she is very happy with it, no hormones, nothing to remember.

i had a copper iud for 9 years & its very reliable birth control. down side is sometimes when i sat down it caused cramps but nothing unbearable just here & there. also my husband said sometimes it poked him during sex. i have the mirena now & i like it better.
