Question Nov 14, 2008 at 12:20 AM
  #1
As some of you may remember I had to under go bladder surgery a few months back and all is going fine with the recovery.... but now a new problem has come about involving bleeding from my uterus all through out the month and really extreme (painful & heavy) during my actual period..... I have an appt set up to see my PD on Dec 1 for my yearly check and I will bring this issue up at the visit.

But in the mean time I was wondering what any of the other females / nurses that have dealt with a similar matter has to say on this health issue.

Thanks.

Had my appt with my doctor.... she did some test and took some blood - now we wait.

I have to go back next Tuesday to be fitted with a heart monitor for 24 hours to check out the old ticker.... as it is not acting right.

Rhapsody, I've never experienced the uterus bleeding problem, am not a doctor and would not even attempt to provide a medical diagnosis. I would like to stay in touch with you to find out what the doctor's diagnosis is. You have such a laid-back disposition. I love it.

Got a call from my doctor today and while I went in to see her for one main reason (my constant vaginal bleeding) many other things have come back no so good.

My cholesterol level has jumped from 189 to 240 - even though I have been on medicine for the last four years and have lost weight just recently via healthy eating and drinking plenty of water.

I have to go in for two special mammogram due to an infection that may or may not be in my right breast due to a possible ruptured breast implant.

The old heart is not working to grand right now and my blood work backs that up along with a raised blood pressure that is borderline.... so my doctor wants to make sure that I follow through with getting my heart monitor to wear next Tuesday so they can see what might be going on... possible heart valve problem I have had for some time now, over ten years.

I am hang in there as usual.....
