...Even though I'm not on my period and am nowhere near to coming on my period and came off about 2 weeks ago. This makes no sense to me..
It's gotten so bad at times, that I just don't want to walk because of the pain it causes for me. I don't understand what it oculd be. First of all i thougth it could be eating more after suffering with an eating disorder, but that's all gone to pot because I'm coming back down to starving, and it's not stopped at all, whether I eat more, or less, drink more, or less, exercise more, or les.. It makes no sense to me whatsoever. I can't be pregnant as I had a test 2 weeks ago because of an od, so had to have a test to make sure I could be put on certain types of meds to stop the od messing up my liver.. Could that be what it is? the effects of the od? It's like lower stomach pain, kind of like period pain, but not. It's still that kind of 'pulling me down into the ground' sensation i get from period pains, so I don't understand what it is at all. Before anyone asks, yes I am on birth control, I'm on Marvelon. I haven't had any problems wiht it up until now and have been on it for about 4/5 months. ![]() |

I am not really sure if the od could cause that or not, I would call your doctor and ask just to be safe. Pain is usually a sign that something is up.

How long has this been occuring? Is it about a week or 2 after your period every time? How old are you? Also, where is the pain? If its actually stomach pain its going to be higher up towards your ribs. If its lower down, that might signal a problem in your uterus or ovaries.
If you are a young woman I would highly suggest going to an OBGYN about possible cysts or endometriosis. Cysts form every month when your eggs develop and when you ovulate, the cysts ruptures, the egg releases and the cysts dies off after your body realizes youre not pregnant. But, for some women, the cyst may not rupture and you may not ovulate. In this case, the cyst continues growing and growing until it eventually ruptures, twists or some other painful experience. Sometimes higher levels of testosterone can trigger PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome) so if your hormones are off balance that could explain it. If thats the case simple hormones/birth control can level out your hormones and help you deal with the pain. Endometriosis is basically when uterine tissue grows outside of the uterine lining. The biggest problem with this is that the main way to find it is by ultrasound. However, this tissue can be so thin that ultrasound might not find it. There are some other tests your doctor can do to diagnose this but ultimate it would result in surgery to remove the tissue. In addition to cysts in your ovaries you could have a cyst/polyp in your uterus. I had over a dozen cysts in both ovaries and a polyp in my uterine lining that was acting as an IUD. It was making my body think I was pregnant when I wasn't so I was having some amazing pains and crazy bleeding. My OBGYN did a test called a histerosonogram. Now, if you have to have this test, your doc will say "itll be a little uncomfortable". Take a little uncomfortable and multiply it by like 100 lol. Then again my OBGYN is a man and doesnt have a uterus! haha If you have any questions or anything feel free to PM me. Hope this helps. |
