What beauty products do you use and how effective are they?

I recently started using Cindy Crawford's Meaningful Beauty and I am really enjoying the results! My skin is softer, less fine lines, less black heads....list goes on. I would give these products 3 stars out of 5 stars.

I have been using makeup from Lauren Hutton for the last four years and I love it - the makeup is great for any age, but specially created for the lady over forty.

I'm not using anything right now, but I do plan to do a lot of research when I get well enough to live a "normal" life. I want products that really work, not just work a little bit or not at all. I have repeatedly heard Olay's Regenerist line works very well, even better than products that cost hundreds of dollars, so that's on my list.

I wonder about those products you always see celebrities endorsing. Sometimes celebrities don't use the products they advertise, so I'm skeptical about such things. I don't care what the company says about their products, because their goal is to sell me the product. I'm unsure about the reviews I read online, because sometimes companies post fake reviews to either convince you to buy their products, or to avoid others'. Plus, what works for one person may not work for you.

It's frustrating. I want something that takes away wrinkles (but as I understand, it would also have to affect the underlying muscle to actually do that), makes my skin look and feel like I'm 20 years old, makes ME look like I'm 20 (LOL!), and gives me gorgeous skin, teeth, hair, nails, and everything else, including a sexy, slim figure! (Yeah, I want a miracle!) I know such a product isn't out there, but that's what I want!

As far as skin care goes, I take vitamins (Hair, Skin & Nails, this thing makes your hair grow like crazy!!!), and use Oil of Olay (renewal cleanser, daily regenerating serum, microdermabrasion and peel (once a week), eye lifting serum), and Roc products, they're the best in my opinion. When it comes to makeup I like Almay and Physicians Formula because my skin is super sensitive.

I forgot that I do use one beauty product. Curel Intensive skin lotion. I find it quite good for very dry skin, which is a problem I have because of my OCD and all that handwashing. Oh! And I try different body washes from time to time. I like Dove Deep Moisture body wash, but the smell burns my nose a bit. It smells very clean and kind of like soap, which I like, except for the burning part. I'm trying Nivea's A Touch of Harmony body wash, and it leaves my skin pretty soft, although I'm not wild about the smell. It's not bad, but I'm picky about body wash fragrances, and I really want to find something that not only leaves my skin soft, but smells really good.
