I'm sorry this is a rant. I hate being on my menstral so bad. I am angry sad and sexually aroused but I don't want to be touched. Crazy, huh? Not only that my periods are extremly painful and my doc said he'll give me vicodin but I don't want those I'll eat them like candy. Tylenol don't work. And all this now I have high anxiety. I know I am being whiny. I'm a woman women have periods. It's nature. But still......men are so lucky Except for mine he's gotta put up with me the 1st of every month

Have you tried hormonal contraceptives? They can help make your period lighter or even allow you to skip your periods. They can be iffy with mood issues, but some people tolerate them well and find it helps with moods.

Thunderbear, I also have the Factor 5 thing. But I didn't find out until after I went on birth control and had a very serious blood clot in my head. So good that you know before something bad happened!

I am so sorry that your period sounds like such a nightmare. I feel you. I also hate being on my period, even though it doesn't sound anything as painful as yours. And they always come at the most inconvenient times! Maybe your doctor could recommend some more natural remedies for you.

And I think it's totally okay to whine about it sometimes! It really does suck lol.
Thanks for this!

You could try progesterone only pills or even the depo-provera shot...i hear those are less likely to cause blood clots, of course, i also hear it's the estrogen that helps with moods and depo can be risky (three month commitment there).
Thanks for this!

Hey dearyou. When I had my first son, my gyn put me on the depo shot and I bled for 3 straight months. To the point to where I was dangerously animec. I was told some times it will cause anyhing from light to no perid to heavy and constant bleeding. So depo scaes me half to death. I collapsed at work is how I found out the depo was causeing aneimia.
