I cannot believe that I have graduated with a master's degree in education and cannot find a job for the life of me. Getting nibbles here and there with interviews, but never get the position.

So frustrating. How will I pay my rent?

So sorry, LilacButterfly, have been where you are and it's terrible! Hang in there. Can you take something just to pay the bills until your "real" job comes along?

lilacbutterfly, I feel the heck outta you! I graduated from undergrad last year with a Bachelor's of Arts in Journalism and haven't found a job yet. Journalism is already an extremely competitive field, but these days if you're not the best of the best it doesn't seem you have a chance.

Even a Master's Degree doesn't always help, especially in journalism. I'm living off mom and dad right now, in their home eating their food. As I've said elsewhere in this forum, it isn't a good feeling to be as dependent as I am as old as I am. That sounds stupid considering I'm still quite young (23), but I still want to find my independence.

I told someone else this same thing; we've both just got to hang in there. It's hard for me sometimes, but I keep hope alive for the most part. At least I have folks who care! But our breaks will come soon enough; the economy still sucks right now anyway. Hope financial prosperity comes to you soon!
