I cannot believe that I have graduated with a master's degree in education and cannot find a job for the life of me. Getting nibbles here and there with interviews, but never get the position.
So frustrating. How will I pay my rent? |

So sorry, LilacButterfly, have been where you are and it's terrible! Hang in there. Can you take something just to pay the bills until your "real" job comes along?

lilacbutterfly, I feel the heck outta you! I graduated from undergrad last year with a Bachelor's of Arts in Journalism and haven't found a job yet. Journalism is already an extremely competitive field, but these days if you're not the best of the best it doesn't seem you have a chance.
Even a Master's Degree doesn't always help, especially in journalism. I'm living off mom and dad right now, in their home eating their food. As I've said elsewhere in this forum, it isn't a good feeling to be as dependent as I am as old as I am. That sounds stupid considering I'm still quite young (23), but I still want to find my independence. ![]() I told someone else this same thing; we've both just got to hang in there. It's hard for me sometimes, but I keep hope alive for the most part. At least I have folks who care! But our breaks will come soon enough; the economy still sucks right now anyway. Hope financial prosperity comes to you soon! ![]()
