i have TRD and am living at home. my dad is a farmer, which means he doesn't make a whole lot of money. but recently, my mom got laid off from her work place. it's hard because i know i can't financially support myself, yet i know it's worse for my mom.
i'm scared because the few things that still keep me going, they cost money. and if i lose those things, i'm not sure what will be left for me to hang on to. i'm clinging to life by a thread, but how do i tell my 60-year-old mom that she needs to find another job? i can't work right now, so how can i say this without sounding like a complete jack*$$ ????? |

I understand the dilemma there however, I am not sure it is your job to tell your mom that she needs to get another job. She is an adult and is capable of making her own decisions about such things. It sounds as if she's done OK so far in that she was employed up until the time of the layoff. I'm sure she will discuss the situation with your father.
I know it probably is a tense situation for your entire family. But unless she asks your opinion, it might be best if you keep it to yourself. She's probably not too happy about being laid off. JMO __________________ Vickie |

So, not being sure what a TRD (sorry for my ignorance) is, I am wondering what kinds of things you are able to do to help support things around these hard economic times?: H. . __________________ “Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind.” Albert Einstein |
