Ok, Im looking for a job BUT there is a catch.

I am pregnant. Does that pretty much screw me over or is there still a glimpse of light?

Thanks.

PS - For those who do not have jobs but looking, a good thing to do in the mean time is volunteer. It looks GREAT on a resume and also your helping out a good cause.
Thanks for this!

I have known some companies to hire pregnant people so it's not hopeless, though depending on how far along you are you may have better luck after having the baby. Good luck I hope you find something.

Nypheria ~

What you said about volunteering is EXCELLENT! Not only does it look good on a resume and you're helping others...you're also getting experience and meeting people. You never know when or where you'll meet the person who knows the perfect job for you at this time in your life.

Also, it can be helpful to become involved with any kind of professional or social organization. Again, working with and for others offers experience, gains knowledge and develops friendship and trust.

Being pregnant and trying to find a job has to be incredibly difficult but keep on plugging away at it...if you're determined it will happen!

Peace and happiness to you ~

Melanie

There is a glimpse of light for sure!
However, it does make it a bit more difficult. GL with the job hunt!
