I have this pattern- I get a job, feel great for a few months, feel trapped and move on to another job. One problem- i can't find a decent paying job. The job i have is tiring and stressful. And i am depressed for the first time. My co-workers are nice, thought. I am concerned for the first time about money to pay bills. I am newly on my own. I never knew how scary everything is.

It can work, changing jobs, slowly moving up. You just to have a personal plan, then the tedium of a job won't bother you as much because you will have personally picked that tedious job for a reason :-)

Try reading this book, it's very hopeful and has lots of great ideas: http://wishcraft.com/

Yes, it can be very scary being on your own. Hope you figure it out to your benefit.
