I'm relieved. I got my teaching contract for the fall semester in the mail today. The money's not great, but I need it, and it looks really good on my resume. Plus longer term I hope it will help me get a job teaching in my accounting society's regulatory body's accreditation process. I'd like to do that once I've been stable in a job and sober for about 3 years.

So does this mean no more job hunting for now or what? Is this full time, part time, sub, downtown or what? Happy for you!

Hankster - it's a part time job teaching an on-line course, so I can do it from home. Still need to land a full time job, preferably one on a subway line.

That's great! Very industrious of you.
A friend of mine used to own a restaurant, and now is teaching a course in wine at a cooking school - I so admire her for that. |

It's even better than I thought.
I was looking through the package they sent me more closely today, and it turns out they sent me 3 contracts, one for each of the 11/12 academic year, so I'm guaranteed teaching through 'til next August. This makes me very happy. splitimage |
