I applied online to be a server at Chicago Uno Grill, they called Tuesday and invited me in for an interview Wednesday afternoon- Cindy loved me! She said because the final word was up to the General Manager, Lou, to come in today, Thursday, for an interview with Lou. When I arrived today, the hostess said Lou had stepped out, and someone named Polly gave me a FIRST interview all over again!!! This interview did not even go as well as the first, and now my fate is in Polly's hands...she said she would run it by Lou and call me Monday. Frustrated beyond words...I don't know what to think or do at this point....

Hi Junerain. Poo on the politics and keep up the confidence. Check on line or any place in that restaurant's info for Lou's name to see that this person does exist. If so, address your written interview thank you to both names. Give yourself kudos

I'd sit tight until around 1:00 Monday and then call and ask to talk to Polly, reiterate how much you'd like to have this job and see what she has to say.
Polly, in order to interview you, probably was an assistant manager or someone of that caliber so don't know that you can do much about that. Sorry you don't think the second interview went very well. I'm sure Cindy's phone interview with you will get to Lou too. Can't really know how they operate; I can see advantages to them of having two "equal" people interview you the same. I think Polly will get back to you; it could be you would be working with/under Polly and maybe Lou wants to know if Polly thinks she could work with you and/or you with her.

I think no one told Lou that he was supposed to interview me. It's complete disorganization.
