I hear voices, every day. They can make it hard to function as a normal person. I'm almost done with high school and I need ideas of jobs I can do where even if I heard voices it wouldn't disrupt my work. I get voices from people so... Maybe if I found a job where I work alone. Dunno.

There is a chance I can hold a normal job even with the voices. I think that would be the best case scenario.

Thanks!

Oh and I have depression and schizophrenia.

I would look for jobs where you work with "things" but have people around. Maybe something like a stock clerk or, if you are good with computers, something like a CAD operator (if you are able to briefly talk to engineers and other designers to get your instructions of what to work on), anything where you are more in contact with the physical work world than other people. For instance, being in sales or customer service would probably not be good :-)

Thanks for the reply. I'm interested i learning a trade. But I sorta want to capitalize on the fact that Access VR will pay my way through college.

I know there are many trades where people spend a lot of time alone, such as various aspects of construction work, computer repair and maintenance, heating and air conditioning, etc.

I'm not familiar with the program you mentioned, but I'm sure you can check around to see what kinds of training it would pay for.
Thanks for this!

Thanks. I am sort of leaning toward doing a trade that will pay me while I am a apprentice.

So, have you talked to the people at school that can help sort out a path for you?
