I have an interview tomorrow with a mother of who I may become their live in nanny. I have had nanny jobs in the past, and I have done amazing. I am trying to be confident and calm and reminding myself care is what I want to do for a living (specialized nursing) and it gives me such a sense of pride and empowerment. The looming interview is just making me so nervous. This is a job that will get me out of the house, living (technically) on my own. I will be motivated and kept on a scheduel which helps me so much. I am just so scared that she is going to meet me and instantly change her mind. Do any of you have any advice to carry out a good interview? I know I should look presentable (bought interview clothes the other day) and maintain eye contact etc. I just don't know if there is something I am missing.

Don't get too far ahead of yourself worrying; that's all in your head as the future is not here yet. It could go well as well as poorly so see if you can use your imagination to come up with a scenario you really like and change the "scared" to "excited" to get started?

Thank you both! My problem IS getting ahead of myself instead of being in the "now". I have prepared my list of questions for her (it is a two-way interview) and I have refreshed my memory of questions typically asked. Today I am feeling much more prepared and confident. Thank you again.
