Monday was the last straw. I have been working for a large bank chain and have been taking abuse since I started in December. They micro manage over the top. I was constantally being harrassed, being told if I don't get my numbers, I won't have a job. I kid you not, one day my manager came to my dask 4 times and called me to her office 4 times in one day to tell me all the thigs I am doing not up to par and I need to get my numbers in order to stay. The company has transfered me to 3 separate branches and I had to start all over, which is not fair. The fourth brahch , I was exposed to mold, which I am very allergic to, so I was transfered again, but over an hour away and with a horrible manager. She basically said I was lying when she saw I called a local popular comany and actually talked to the owner. I was told Ihad to come in on Wednesday at 7:45 to be on a call to the district manager to tell him why I am not at my numbers. and I have to say late one night for call night, and maybe the next night if I dont have 5 appoinments for each day. I was constantally reprimanded all day. By 5, I had had it. I collected my things and left. I haven't been back, and I have called out each day to use my sick days. I will never go back!

Welcome to PC shoebabe and hugs to you for the all the work stress you've been under. I agree this seems like a toxic work environment. I hope you can start looking for a better job that you'll like. Sorry this happened.

Hi, shoebabe, welcome. Reminds me of the cleaning company I use, they actually make the maids save and bring in their bags of vacuuming "dirt" to measure and make sure they are actually doing the work.

I worked for Sears and was in the credit department in one of their stores and had to call people to tell them why they did not get a credit card they applied for! Fun job, not! Some jobs just aren't worth it. I hope you find one you prefer.

I hope you find a job that respects & appreciates you. You deserve that & you should never put up with abuse on a job. That's not cool.
